Rebecca Benjamin, an engaging violinist and violist, has an active career performing on both instruments across the U.S. and abroad. An avid chamber musician, Rebecca is a violinist of the award-winning Abeo Quartet, based in New York City and is on the violin faculty of the Kneisel Hall Program for Maine Students. Rebecca has recently been in the top international competitions, including the Lionel Tertis, ARD, and Tokyo International Viola Competitions. Rebecca is a current doctoral student in Viola Performance at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music where she was selected as the only string candidate in the 2023 cohort.
